It’s the opening track on the new disc, and a song we will be thoroughly enjoying playing live on our upcoming EU and USA tours. 'Long Shadows' was chosen as the first song we want people to hear from this upcoming album as this crushing track should leave NO DOUBT in anyone’s mind concerning the uncompromising, brutal, destructive intent evident throughout the entirety of the 'Vile Nilotic Rites' album. I would also like to thank our fans who have been patiently waiting while we worked tirelessly to make this record undeniably the best NILE record in many years.“ George Kollias commented:- “I’m super excited for the release of our new album and very happy our fans will finally get their first taste! It’s a special album for all of us since each member contributed on this a lot. I feel it represents the teamwork spirit NILE has right now and that shows on stage as well. Inspired by the likes of Deicide, Morbid Angel, Nile, and Cannibal Corpse, Carnageslumber have been assaulting the masses with brutal technical death metal since 2014. Evolving their approach of extreme music with an "old school style" along with their lyrics based on human guinea pigs and self-destructive behaviour, the band offers up a sound that is best described as 'gloomy, dark, dirty, low, yet classic'. This next release is more mature and technically advanced to showcase how the band has grown musically since their first effort. Featuring vocalist Paolo “Zodd” Sofia (Velchans), drummer Lorenzo Reina (ex-Cadaver Mutilator) and guitarist Salvo Di Marco, Carnageslumber's forthcoming album "Sadistic Mechanical Evolution" is ready to annihilate fans with over 30 minutes during eleven gut-punching tracks that unleash a carnage that will wake you up from your slumber. The band adds: "'Sadistic Mechanical Evolution' is the canvas on which we wanted to describe the morbid need of humankind (and other "living things"). Focusing particularly upon the exploitation of the human guinea pig, analysing, and in some cases, both state of mind, victim, and executioner. Almost every song written on this album expresses all of this through the free inspiration and interpretation of more or less famous films, books, comics, and historical events." "Sadistic Mechanical Evolution" will be available on October 25, 2019. Album Teaser here. Album Pre-Order here. It is the follow up to the group's highly praised 2016 EP, Void Walker, which was preceded by their 2014 self-titled album that put the band on the map. Place of Chains sports eye-popping cover art from Justin Abraham who has created art for Equipoise, Inanimate Existence, Lecherous Nocturne, A Loathing Requiem, Æpoch, and more. Place of Chains was mixed by Inferi and Oubliette guitarist Mike Low, and Mastered by Anagnorisis guitarist Zak Denham. Since their formation in 2010, Singularity has continually shown themselves to be a forward-thinking act, one with a bold vision built on fusing technical death metal and symphonic black metal together in a myriad of ways. Now in 2019, Singularity's years of hard work and commitment to their craft has paid off with their most accomplished material yet on Place of Chains. Bombastic and brutal, Place of Chains exists as a unique crossover between worlds, in doing so, Singularity has delivered a powerful album that will surely be ranked among as one of 2019's best death metal releases. Further enhancing the quality of Place of Chains is a bevy of high profile guest spots from Inferi guitarist Malcolm Pugh adding further orchestration throughout the album, a song co-written by Equipoise guitarist Nick Padovani plus a guest solo, as well as guest vocals from Arkaik vocalist Jared Christianson and Animus Complex vocalist Jeremy Davis. The band states that Place of Chains will strongly appeal to fans of Fleshgod Apocalypse, Vale of Pnath, Old Man's Child, Dimmu Borgir, and the first album from Irreversible Mechanism. *You can listen to an album teaser video for Singularity - Place of Chains HERE Singularity comments on the release of Place of Chains:- "Place of Chains is the translation to the song title "Desmoterion" which lyrically illustrates the emotions of being wrongfully imprisoned. Considering that many of the songs on this record lyrically are about enslavement, we felt it was a good over-arching title for the record. We strongly believe that this is the best Singularity record so far. Singularity would also like to thank our guest artists that we had the privilege of having on this record. With every record, we try to further hone in on what the core of Singularity's sound is and what we want to bring to the world of metal." The EP is set for worldwide release on July 19, 2019. The new sci-fi offering 'Remote Void' is now streaming via the official Season of Mist Youtube Channel at the link below which can be freely spread. Link: - https://youtu.be/9TwlPMrQYQ8 Wormed commented on the track: "Entering the Metaportal. A nano technological war has been unleashed in the void to defeat the last sower of human life, Krighsu. In a desperate attempt to help a galactic system in danger, Krighsu must access the vast Metaportal, what he doesn't know yet is the reason for its existence." Out of respect for drummer G-Calero, who recently passed away, the photo above is the latest of the band.
Space – the final frontier. Yet, when Wormed reach out into the void, the results sounds far more like a dark space opera inhabited by bizarre aliens, genetically and technically evolved meta-humans struggling for power and survival in galactic empires. Now, the nano-technological war has been unleashed in the void to defeat the last sower of human life, Krighsu! Odd-time signatures, avalanches of breaks and complex rhythmical as well as melodic patterns will excite every aficionado of extreme technicality, while growls down-tuned strings and double-bass assaults will more than satisfy extreme metal connoisseurs. While being outstandingly skilled musicians Wormed are avoiding any self-indulgent show of prowess for its own sake. Instead the five-piece from Madrid clearly lays its emphasis on creating atmospheric songs, which develop and grow along the underlying story. Originating from Spain's capital Madrid in 1998, Wormed immediately made an impact in the death metal scene with the release of their 'Floating Cadaver in the Monochrome' MCD (1999). Following a promo CD under the title 'Voxel Mitosis' (2001), the first studio album 'Planisphaerium' received high acclaim by critics and fans alike in 2003. In the wake of their debut full-length, the Spanish received invitations to international festival shows and touring around the globe. Wormed performed in Japan alongside Goratory and Vomit Remnants and afterwards hit Europe with Malignancy and Despondency. A creative hiatus, partly due to line-up changes and filled with re-issues of their previous released as well as the single 'Quasineutrality' (2010) finally ended, when their sophomore album 'Exodromos' came out in 2013. On their third full-length 'Krighsu' (2016), the fast-rising Spanish Sci-Fi tech death prodigies are telling a dystopian cosmic story with lyrics and music joined into an overarching concept. Its intense brutality, dissonant dynamic riffing, and tremendous heaviness combined with an amazing futuristic concept, which introduced the character Krighsu – last human in the cosmos, harvested top reviews and saw Wormed headlining in the US and co-headlining in Europe. Now Wormed are ready to explore the cosmos even further by entering the 'Metaportal', while climbing to even more mind-blowing musical heights. Prepare to experience the universe in the light and sound of a new aeon dawning! Ayatollah is the third single of Singularity, and comes accompanied with a music video. Watch the music video here: https://youtu.be/6y7MFmAI2RM De Lirium’s Order was formed in 1998 by guitarist Juha Kupiainen and today, it is one of the most praised groups in technical death metal. Drawing inspiration also from thrash and progressive metal, De Lirium’s Order is known for their creative, experimental guitar riffs, solos and drum patterns. The current line-up consists of musicians from the acts like Abbath, Omnium Gatherum and Raskasta Joulua. The band’s previous album release Veniversum (2012) got a much awaited continuum with Singularity which opened new musical pathways for the band through the album’s futuristic, ambitious concept. Guitarist Juha Kupiainen comments on Ayatollah:- “While the rise of The Monolith is awaiting behind the door, the human race is battling with cultural clash between Middle-East and West. Scarcity of resources, changing environment and increasing inequality among others limit their focus. A man who has lost his family to a drone strike seeks for revenge while the other part has technological superiority. With their short sight and vanity, mankind is hearing the first echoes of their doom.” Listen to the album:

Italian for 'venom', 'Veleno' marks Fleshgod Apocalypse’s first record in 3 years, since the release of their critically acclaimed record 'King' (2016). The 'metal part' of 'Veleno' was recorded in Rome, Italy at Bloom Recording Studio and Kick Studio with long-standing collaborator Marco Mastrobuono, while the 'orchestral part' - the ensembles - were tracked at Musica Teclas Studio in Perugia. Fleshgod Apocalypse then took the effort over to Grammy-nominated Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, The Black Dahlia Murder, Epica) at Hansen Studios in Denmark for mixing and mastering. The entire production of 'Veleno' took, according to Paoli, about three months. Artwork for the album was created by Travis Smith (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, OPETH, KATATONIA). The album is set for release on May 10th via The Artisan Era. It is the follow up to the group's highly praised fourth album, Underneath a Melting Sky, which was released in 2017. Active since 2011, the band has yet to slow down in between regular extended touring on a near yearly basis and with four well-received albums released to date already. Continuing the group's evolution found on 2017's Underneath a Melting Sky, Clockwork delves ever deeper into cerebral progressive death metal depths while buoyed by the group's established penchant for merciless full-throttle brutality and frenetic tech-death driven terrain. The stunning cover artwork for Clockwork was created by Justin Abraham (Equipoise, Oubliette, A Loathing Requiem, Aepoch) and the recording was handled by both the band itself and with usual collaborator Zack Ohren (Fallujah, Continuum, Alterbeast) who mixed and mastered Clockwork at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California. Inanimate Existence partnered with The Circle Pit today to premiere the album's third single, "Desert". Today's premiere of "Desert" doubles as a music video as well. **You can listen to Inanimate Existence - "Desert" HERE You can catch Inanimate Existence live on the upcoming Clockwork North America tour with a rotating cast of support bands on various parts of the tour from May 10th - June 23rd when it ends.
